Looking back...

My last post was on "Change", we should accept change & move forward at the same time we should also not forget the past, Yesterday it was 3 AM when i hit the bed, was watching movies, there were full of dreams, It took me to the past, My days at Indore, So i decided this morning to type down all the memorable incidents. This post is dedicated to all my friends with whom i spent almost 5 glorious years

Always we get a nice feeling & fresh energy when we think about good incidents which occurred in our life. It rejuvenates us. We don't realize this in the present. We forget ourselves in the day to day routine & most of us lead a mere robotic life. Then we look back & feel that the past was really good, no pressure, no worries etc. Pressure is always there in one's life but it all depends how we tackle it.Ok enough theory, let me take you to the past

I joined Tata on 30th July 2001.I did learned a lot in my professional life but I had lot of bitter incidents. I was never satisfied with the way things were going with me but to compensate that i had a good social life. I was gifted to meet very good personalities in my life. Babu Anna was the first person, I met. I was introduced to him by one of my senior. Immediately he invited me to stay in his house. Very nice person, always helpful & also jacks Anna. What ever i learned technically in leather half the credit should go to him.I know most of our guys will laugh on this as i used to ask lot many questions :-)
Then the second person I met in the office was Ravi, I still remember it was near big Mollissa machine. He was not that interested to speak with me. Just was formally speaking with me. Then Mani & in the evening i met Vasanth. All of them were kind of little reserved with me.

Then as time passed by we slowly started mingling with each other.Ravi used to always maintain a distance. Then five of us were staying together.Me,Ravi,Vasanth,Mani & Bala.Bala was my class mate .Then later selva, veera & Shanmugam joined us.Babu Anna's wife- Kavitha akka.Every week end we used to have lunch there.Chicken at its best form. Here always i'll be made the scape goat:( Hope Vasanth will know what I'm trying to say.

Ahh i missed one more guy-Zunaith. He is another typical person -married had a kid but this guy always things himself as a bachelor,on Friday evenings you can definitely find him at the browsing center, will be in Yahoo Chat ,trying to pick up some girls

Selva is a very cool guy, takes things easy & always keep himself in a jovial mood.Next comes Veera-till now I've never met a hard worker like him.He sleeps for a maximum for4 hrs a day.Shanmugam was purely inspired by Veera to go out for higher studies. On a jovial front Veera is another Gemini Ganesan.More on Romance ,Ravi & Vasanth can explain a lot.But there was a silent person who used to keeps observing all his(Veera's)activities -Selva & daily he will narrate it to us. When ever Veera gets angry he comes out with bad words in his own style :-)Every month will definitely have a treat at hotel.Though we used to have only one day holiday/week we used to enjoy a lot.

I can go on & keep adding many incidents & it will run for pages & pages.Basic motive behind this post is that this will act as a trigger point which will take you to the past for alteast few minutes & make you feel happy.Good thing is still we are in touch & would always be in touch with each other.A mail would have been still normal so I thought to reach you guys through this post.Ok guys hope you would have enjoyed this, leave your comments for sure. Will meet you all soon with some thing more...

Change is inevitable

After a long break(almost after 4 months) iam blogging now,Every time when i blog i used to affirm myself that i should make this as a continuous process but it has never happened.Any way will try to improve myself. After a stint of hectic travel in my earlier project finally i got released.Whatever said & done, no one can bring back those lovely moments i had at different places with my team.Though i didn't had big job satisfaction in terms of technical learning,i got a chance to get introduced to lot many guys who are also my good friends, whom i believe are one of the intangible assets in one's life.

The Butterfly is supposed to signify change from youth to adult, or from plain to beautiful, whichever you choose change is the main thought ,So lets accept the change & add more glory to our life

So now time has brought me to yet another new place-Hyderabad, Cool city interms of atmosphere, environment, people, climate(time being-may be for another 3-4 months).Though life is not going as fast as it was but i feel this phase is essential to hone my skill sets & get ready to face new challenges. Here iam staying with my junior colleagues,So far its great going.Thats it for now,Hope to blog soon

China!!! thru my Eyes

Recently i went to the world's biggest economy - China,This is not a typical travelogue but just wanted to share few things to show what right attitude can do good for the people or for that matter to the whole country ,Frankly i didn't had that big expectation about China,i was astounded to see the kind of massive infrastructure they have built. Then i realised the importance of "dreaming big"- as said by Dirubhai Ambani.
Above one is the maglev train station connecting to Pudong Airport

Before coming to China i was under impression that European countries are sparsely populated & thats the reason they are able to maintain such a dirtless ,clean environment,When i saw china I was taken aback & it was proved that my reasonings were just an illusion,The roads were so clean,No pollution,Cool people, eager to help in spite of language barrier,Frankly for few days i was little upset with our own country's development.am afraid to say that may be we have missed the train.Having said that every country has its own pros & cons.Good thing about China is they have taken the pros of the whole world & have adopted for themselves. And this is a continuous process. Now they are very keen in learning English which is the only barrier for them to gain supremacy in the field of IT.How many of us know about software parks in China but they know about Bangalore. It's shows not only the government's attitude but also the people's.When it comes to leveraging the opportunity i think China has outreached India,Iam not speaking ill about India but still this is the fact.We waste much of our valuable time in playing dirty politics.SEZ-Special Economic Zone has been successful only in few countries & no doubt China is one of the countries which has started reaping the benefit. They target each province(may be equivalent to 3-4 districts) & develop them with all basic infrastructure in less than 7 yrs.For example Guandong is one of the province. The place where i stayed called Pudong was just an open land surrounded by waters 10 years before,Now many sky scrappers of Shanghai are only there & the worlds most speed est train(Maglev) runs there. It reaches the InternationalAirport in a jiffy(30 kms covered in 8 mins). Is this not possible in India? We have plans & it willremain as plans for another 5 years(minimum).

So, it's a proven fact again & again,Its only the attitude which determines one's destiny. It applies to an individual & also for a country.Though we have everything still we are not the best ,it's because of many reasons & attitude in one among them.It was an inspiring trip for me.Hope the above would have also been inspirational to you.Let's start growing as an individual with right attitude & spread the same message across our known/dear one's (to start with).

Thanks to the nature of job which is taking me to new places( don't know how long i'll be thanking-Just Kidding!!!),So Iam moving to Kolkata next week,So will be there for 2-3 months, have planned to travel North East,Will be back with some latest happenings around me

kindly drop in your comments

Back With a Bang

Hello,

After a long break iam back to blogging,So now in a new professional path which i never thought of but dreamt of only during my late school/college days-Working for an IT company

For many of you including me it's a sursprise,Iam into the world of SAP now,Started of with the dream of MBA but couldnt really get where i wanted to,I was just thinking what i need to do as my sabbatical was also nearing to end

I was left with no other option to join back Tata or resign and do some thing on which i was not very clear. At that time Vasanth ,who is more than a friend to me pitched in to help me out.Because of him iam here today in the world of SAP.Iam blessed to be sorrounded by few good persons in my life& he is definitley one among them.Iam highly indebted to all of my family members who supported me during the lean period especially my bro who influenced a lot in vital decisions. As of now, I havent accomplished any thing big but still have been successful enough in shifting my career which was my primary goal

In recent past happened to travel some new places,Will be back with some of those experiences & lot more in my next blog,Till then have a good time & enjoy life
